Loblolly Pine.
The state tree of Arkansas. Very rapid growth. Grows
well in a variety of soils including wet areas. Old trees in the
Wichita area have grown to 80 feet. Straight trunk, very long,
light green needles. In the seventh year of production we have
produced trees to 20 feet with no known adverse circumstances.
Eastern White Pine.
Grows in a variety of soils, preferring well-drained,
loamy soils. Moderate rate of growth; great for urban settings
capable of reaching 50+ feet tall. Smooth bark and soft needles,
resistant to Dothistroma and Diplodia and Pine Wilt. A great choice
for a specimen yard tree.
Southwestern White Pine.
Like the Easter White Pine, it grows in a variety of soils,
preferring well-drained, loamy soils. Moderate rate of growth;
great for urban settings capable of reaching 50+ feet tall. Smooth
bark and soft needles, resistant to Dothistroma and Diplodia and
Pine Wilt. A great choice for a specimen yard tree.
Austrian Pine.
Long, dark heavy central trunk, thrives in a wide variety of soils,
great for screening and windbreaks. For 30 years we have found
this tree to be the hardiest and most dependable of all pines
for our area. Capable of reaching 50+ feet tall.
