General Facility for Rentals

Prairie Pines began as a Christmas tree farm, but evolved into much more than that over a period of 32 years. In 1983 the log barn was added to the farm. It is a rustic, charming, cozy facility originally built to house our shop at Christmas season. Later, with the addition of the garden and lily pond behind it, it became the perfect setting for small weddings, anniversaries, receptions, seminars, and quiet retreats. The large Grande Garden with the stone bridge was added in 2002. With waterfalls, ponds and amphitheater, this created the perfect setting for larger outdoor weddings and receptions, and other outdoor events.

The Barn and Courtyard Garden

The Barn and Courtyard Garden will accommodate up to 150 people during the outdoor season (April – September). It has a lovely intimate garden and waterfall, and a small lily pond just behind it. There is an elevated cobblestone landing built up on the waterfall large enough for a wedding party. There is state-of-the-art sound system throughout the garden. A wide array of seasonal flowers fills the garden each of these months. There are three wooden decks with 12 glass-top tables for outside entertaining. The log barn is included with the rental of this facility which provides plenty of inside seating for your party.

The Grande Garden

The Grande Garden is a larger area, which can accommodate up to 300 people. Lush ponds, cobblestone pathways, waterfall, and larger stone landing make this the ideal setting for a beautiful outdoor event. The amphitheater and flower garden make an attractive backdrop for weddings and receptions. Our unique stone bridge is the perfect setting for memorable photographs. A state-of-the-art sound system goes through the entire garden.
