Prairie Pines began as a Christmas tree farm, but evolved into much more than that over a period of 36 years. In 1983 the log barn was added to the farm. It is a rustic, charming, cozy facility. Later, with the addition of the outdoor garden and lily pond behind it, became the perfect location for small Wichita weddings, Wichita indoor weddings, Wichita anniversaries, Wichita receptions, seminars, and quiet retreats.
The large Grande Garden with the stone bridge was added in 2002. With waterfalls, ponds and amphitheater, this created the perfect location for larger Wichita outdoor weddings and receptions, and other outdoor events.
