People always ask what we do “the rest of the year” when they visit Field of Screams. The truth is, we are actively planning year-round for the event. If you compare Field of Screams to a theater production, imagine putting on a show with over 30 sets, over 70 actors, for over 20 nights. It’s something that requires constant attention and it’s a labor of love and passion. In March we attended the annual haunted attraction tradeshow where our team spent hours getting inspiration and meeting about our 2026 plans. We are now prepping the Field for planting the crop. Once that crop begins to grow, we will begin building the scenes and bringing the vision to life. It’s a very exciting process that begins as soon as the Christmas season is complete. For us, “haunt season” is always right around the corner.
