Prairie Pines’ beautiful scenery is the perfect setting for both amateur and professional photographers to work their magic! Enjoy our lovely year-round landscapes as a backdrop to your photography.
- Non-professional photographers may photograph anytime during open hours, with no charge, following the policies listed below.
- Professional photographers may reserve a time when we are not open, pay a fee, and agree to our terms listed below.
Professional Photographers
We are excited to now offer photography session rentals for professional photographers. Our farm offers many scenic photography options. There is beauty to be found in every season.
Professional Photography Farm Rental Rates
Professionally booked photo sessions are available when we are not open to the public. Spring, Summer, Fall, and Christmas availability.

Professional Photography Terms
- Session rates are based on one photographic subject: i.e., one family, one couple, one senior. Photographers wishing to book consecutive sessions with multiple photographic subjects (such as 1/2-hour mini sessions) may pay a ½-hour rate for each family/couple/senior.
- All photographers must have a signed agreement with Prairie Pines before beginning their sessions.
- Full payment is required to reserve your date and is refundable up to 48 hours prior to the photography session.
- We’ll happily reschedule sessions for inclement weather.
Professional Photography Policies
Signed property information and agreement required.
Agreement includes:
- Parking and restroom information.
- Map of areas available for you to access.
- Props and clean up expectations. (Approval for large props must be done in advance.)
- Safety and property care expectations.
Non-Professional Photographers
During our open hours, we welcome you to bring your cameras and phones to capture your family and friends in the natural landscape at Prairie Pines.
Here are some things to keep in mind:
- You are welcome to take photos during open hours only.
- Hours will be posted on our website during the opens seasons of lavender and Christmas trees.
- Cameras and cellphones only – no tripods, flash equipment, or large props allowed.
- Be careful not to disturb the experience of other guests.
- Stay on the provided walking paths. Do not climb on rocks and waterfalls or walk through flower beds and crops.
- Flower picking is not allowed unless purchasing a bundle.
- Our farm has a private home on the property. Stay in public areas only.
- Please be respectful of our property.
