You’ve heard it all over the news: due to past recessions…fires…Covid…shipping delays there will be a shortage of Christmas trees this season and for many seasons to come. We’ve faced many of the same issues over the past few years and see the supply-chain issue heating up.  Over the past couple of weeks we have taken many questions about our tree availability for this year. So we wanted to take this opportunity for an update. For the 2021 season, we have about the same amount of trees to cut as in past years. We know many of you are used to coming to Prairie Pines for our premium imported pre-cuts. While it is becoming harder to secure these trees, we are happy to say that we will not have a noticeable decrease from years past. And that is some welcome news – especially after the past two years of dismal news. See you soon!
